The Labouchere Roulette Strategy or as it is also known the
cross-out system is rather a popular roulette strategy employed by
gamblers who like non complicated roulette
systems.
The fact that players long for a system that will minimize house
edge and consequently maximize winnings, is the reason this system is so popular.
The Labouchere roulette strategy can't promise a win every time but it does offer regular winning sessions and that appeals to many a
roulette player.
The Labouchere roulette strategy is very easy, you first take a sheet of paper
and a pen, and put down a sequence of numbers. Let's say for example 1,3,4,2.
Actually it can be any other sequence containing as many figures
as you want. But the shorter sequence the sooner you can lock in a profit.
So, your first bet due to the Labouchere roulette strategy equals the
sum of two outer numbers in your sequence.
In our example 3 units will be your first
bet (1+2=3), you then place a bet of 3 units on any of the even money bets.
If you win, cross the two numbers 1 and 2 off your sequence. Your next bet will
consist of 7 units (3+4=7, which are the two numbers left on your list) and if it wins you can begin a new sequence.
When
you lose the first bet of 3 units, you need to add the number 3 to the end of your sequence of numbers, and your next bet will be 4 if you put it to the end or 5
when placed at the beginning.
So, the Labouchere roulette strategy is simply crossing numbers off when
your bet wins or adding that number to one of the ends of
a sequence if your even money bet loses.
There is another variant of the Labouchere roulette strategy that can
be called the reverse Labouchere.
The idea of this system is that you cross numbers that lose and add a
number after winning. This sequence can lead to a really long game, but even larger wagering requirements.
Should you ask a player who has applied the Labouchere roulette
strategy for some time about results and winnings, their response will be, yes you can get some truly great winning streaks but conversely you can get onto some longer losing streaks.
Still it's much better than the Martingale roulette strategy known to many gamblers as a sure fire way to the poor house!
